ELECTRICAL PROJECT COORDINATOR

Description:

Provide coordination and support on multiple projects from preliminary design through construction phases.  This position requires interaction with the firm’s project team members (designers and engineers from the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology systems disciplines), as well as architects, consultants, clients, and contractors to identify project requirements.  Demonstrate a trustworthy presence through your professionalism, demeanor, and project knowledge.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects, meeting tight deadlines.

  • Administers project documents. 

  • Maintains project management reporting software, creates, updates and distributes project/client files and generates schedules and reports. 

  • Tracks project budgets and may assist in client invoicing. 

  • Coordinates and attends design/construction meetings. 

  • Assists with client and contractor communications. 

  • Supports change order management, estimates and quality control. 

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be highly organized and process driven to coordinate multiple projects efficiently. 

  • Strong understanding of the A/E industry and the built environment.

  • Experience reading construction documents.

  • Working knowledge of Excel, OneNote, Word, etc.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team structure.

  • Ability to learn & grow professionally.

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
