UNDISCLOSED TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITY
The existing service entrance and multiple pieces of electrical gear throughout the building had reached end of service life. Additionally, the system was not configured well for redundancy and maintainability.
LSW designed a 2N replacement system with a main-tie-tie-main configuration at two levels in the distribution system that provides the ability to do de-energized maintenance on gear without losing power to critical loads. A detailed sequence of construction was worked out to allow for equipment replacements in phases to allow for power to be maintained during construction.
