為因應日益成長的旅運量，PRC 需要一座新的航廈來服務周邊社區。建築以「小木屋」意象發想，營造溫馨舒適的乘客體驗。新航廈優化了排隊與動線規劃、更新安檢設施，並擴大道路緣（curb）接送區，包含共乘服務的上下車空間。
公用設施預留未來擴建能力。旅客可在安檢後的空側戶外庭院欣賞跑道與飛機景觀，並享受宜人天候。
