Description:​​

The BIM Coordinator supports the mechanical and electrical design teams by developing and maintaining accurate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. This role bridges design intent and production documentation: coordinating across disciplines, resolving model conflicts, and ensuring deliverables meet both project requirements and LSW standards. The ideal candidate is technically sharp, proactive in identifying coordination issues, and comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-discipline environments. ​

Responsibilities:​​

• Develop and maintain Revit BIM models for mechanical and/or electrical building systems in coordination with engineering design teams.

• Produce accurate construction drawings and project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and other disciplines' teams to ensure proper system integration and spatial clearance.

• Incorporate engineer and designer markups into BIM models accurately and on schedule.

• Run clash detection reviews using Navisworks; identify, document, and work toward resolution of model conflicts.

• Ensure all models and drawings comply with company BIM standards and project documentation requirements.

• Support preparation of construction documentation packages and project deliverable milestones.

• Maintain organized project files and revision history throughout the design process.

• Actively seek workflow improvements and contribute to BIM process development within the team.

• Participate in coordination meetings and communicate clearly with project team members and consultants.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:​

• 5+ years of professional BIM coordination or modeling experience using Revit in an MEP or AEC context. 

• Demonstrated experience producing construction drawings for mechanical and/or electrical building systems. 

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model review. 

• Solid understanding of MEP system layouts, equipment coordination, and building infrastructure within BIM environments. 

• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines in a BIM environment. 

• Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• Must be comfortable working full-time in a collaborative on-site BIM coordination environment.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment Revit software evaluation.

• Experience with semiconductor, mission critical, or large-scale commercial projects is a plus.
