Engineering Intern
Every building has a story. At LSW, we’ve been helping shape those stories since 1947.
LSW Engineers is a consulting engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. Based in Phoenix, we’ve spent nearly eight decades supporting projects across the Valley and throughout the country, designing the systems people rely on every day, even if they never see them.
We like to say, “We design the systems on the other side of the wall.” The systems that keep spaces comfortable in the summer and warm in the winter. The power that keeps lights on and critical equipment running. The infrastructure that allows hospitals to operate, schools to function, and communities to grow.
Our work is built on collaboration. We partner with architects, contractors, and owners to deliver coordinated, practical solutions that perform. Our experience spans advanced manufacturing, aviation, education, government, healthcare, justice, and mission critical facilities.
At the core of what we do is simple: we design systems that work, so the people inside the building can do what matters most.
The Role
Engineering design and coordination support how LSW delivers projects. This role focuses on developing the technical skills required to contribute to that work.
You will support mechanical and electrical design efforts by assisting with drawing production, coordination, and documentation. The work includes developing proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, understanding how coordinated construction documents are produced, and supporting project teams as designs move forward.
